The Man Who's Not A Priest WANTED!

The Man who's NOT a priest - WANTED!

Roman Catholic Church officials moved swiftly to thwart this Irishman's attempt to have himself consecrated as a Reformed Catholic bishop without Church approval or any other priestly qualifications.

It is understood the controversial ceremony, which is forbidden by Church law without the permission of the Pope, went ahead at an alternative undisclosed location in association with the Reformed Catholic Church (RCC), a self styled group with a convicted fraudster topping their hierarchy with countless expelled Paedophiles as priests.

Co. Clare-based Joseph Ryan, (Pictured) claims to be a senior member of the self-styled group calling itself the Reformed Catholic Church (RCC) and states he received Episcopal Consecration in a Dublin hotel bedroom last year, however since the orgy took place as with all things Mr. Ryan pursues dissolves amid scandal.

Church law prescribes extremely strict penalties for those involved in the unlawful consecration of a bishop, including immediate excommunication and it is believed the Roman curia are preparing the papers to make final his journey into heresay.

The truth became clear that Mr. Ryan only spent a few months studying for the Catholic priesthood in the mid-1990s before Church leaders decided that he was not a suitable candidate for ministry and discontinued his priestly training. His former peers recall his dysfunctionality, discontent and the disorder he brought to seminary before being removed.

Mr. Ryan since sought priestly ordination within many schismatic sects whose ordinations are not recognised by Church authorities in Rome and has since opened a lucrative service offering to perform marriage ceremonies for divorced Catholics who are unable to marry within the Church.

His ceremonies cost from between E500 - E900 (exclusive of extras) depending on Mr Ryan's stealthy assessment of wealth proportion among his victims.

Killaloe's Bishop Willie Walsh spoke out, against Mr Ryan and insists that the religious ceremonies are carried out ''without permission'', Ryan never having been a priest to begin with, a fact he hides from his customers.

Bishop Walsh told The Irish Catholic that he ''absolutely does not approve'' of Mr Ryan's actions and says that he ''does not have faculties or permission to exercise any ministry as a priest of the Roman Catholic Church'',

Canon Law states that only a validly ordained Catholic priest can lawfully celebrate the Eucharist, however a weeping bride contacted us here directly to express her dismay that the bread she and her guests had partaken was without a valid blessing.

  1. It is obvious that the "author" of this blog has no understanding of the fact that Catholicism does indeed thrive outside of the Roman jurisdiction. The author of this blog fails to point out that Bishop Ryan's Order are indeed validy within the scope of historic apostolic succession. Bishop Ryan, like myself and other bishops within the greater Independent Catholic Movement are not dependent upon jurisdictions outside of our own to call us to orders or to the episcopal ranks.

This seems to me another exercise of attempting to damn something that simply cannot be damned.

I seems sad that the author of this post cannot find the means of identify themselves within the public form. Instead this "author" chooses to hide their identity and their true motives and agenda.

What a sad use of the internet.

If the author of this blog is such a "true" catholic, I would suggest that he/she/they use the coming season of Lent to refect upon their own practice of character damning and use of mis-truths.

  3. With all due respect you may be misinterpreting the message. We have no grievances what so ever with the multitude of Catholic churches out there.

Our aim is to draw attention to a man who is actively pretending to be a Roman Catholic Priest when he is in fact not.

As for ordination he has always refused to supply any information on his study beyond the Roman Catholic Seminary (of which he was rejected from).

Your defence is commendable but if you study the facts it may be quite misplaced. Please review the links and sources for a fuller more impartial picture then the one our blog provides.

    Thank you.

  4. Thank you for your mail.

I hope people look over the evidence provided on the blog as this man really isn't who he seems to be. My own experience of him was at my sisters wedding a couple of years ago. She had previously being married then divorced and found a man she wanted to settle down with. She got married in a registry office and came across Joes website while looking for a priest to bless her new union. We grew up RC in the west so although we don't agree with everything having it blessed before the eyes of god is very important to our family.
She had her blessing with him. People were told by him (at least once while I was in his presence) specifically that he was a Roman Catholic Priest but had being put on probation due to being openly gay. (Which having a brother of that orientation we have absolutely no problem with by the way).

We heard stories of still having a good working relationship with Bishop Willie Walsh and about his time in the seminary.

This man is clearly a very well paid fraud. I have yet to tell my sister that he isn't actually a Roman Catholic priest. The Reformed Catholic Church may be theologically correct and have many good people in it (not sure if its still running as the web said it was dissolved after the last scandal) but seeing as it was founded by a convicted con artist who conspired to hide a paedophile surely it's not that reformed.

I am currently debating not telling my sister as I expect it to be a painful revelation. I too have no problem with other churches as we all have our own way to find God but no one should ever pretend to be something their not...and get paid well for it!
